EDUCATION & TRAINING

Auckland Speech Therapy is able to provide education and training for a variety of audiences including parents, caregivers, family, educators and any professionals involved with children and young people who may have speech, language or communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Our overall approach is to support the adults around a child to understand their needs, communication style and use strategies to create an environment which supports children's communication development, learning and behaviour. We offer flexible training options suited to your need which could include:

  • Introductory workshops

  • Multi-day seminars

  • Online training and webinars

  • Small group and individual consultations 

  • Direct modelling and support with implementing specific strategies

  • Teletherapy is available when appropriate for the individual

 

We are happy to come into your school, early childhood centre, workplace, organisation etc. and tailor a programme around your needs. Please contact us to discuss.
